We Help Save You Time And Money

We offer several proven methods of reducing entertainment insurance premiums without affecting coverage.  We can review your insurance program to determine if there are ways to reduce costs, and we are ready to help you work through the process.  Here are six premium reducing methods we can recommend for you to consider.

Business Insurance

Merge insurance policies — Consolidating auto, property, and liability insurance under one policy can provide “package” credits.

Automobile Program — Make sure all your commercial vehicles are “classified” correctly. For example, having a pick-up classified as a commercial delivery truck can increase costs. Consider self insuring physical damage coverage on certain vehicles.

Workers’ Compensation — If you have had large losses, it could be beneficial to have a third party medical bill review completed.

Increase Deductibles — Consider increasing your property deductible to $5,000 or even $10,000.  Also, think about increasing auto deductibles on older vehicles. If your losses are low, over time you might save enough in premiums to pay for future losses.

Have us complete an audit of your entire program — We can evaluate exposures your company has, and discover what options would be best for your individual needs. We can become a second set of eyes to uncover exposures not currently addressed.

We Know entertainment Insurance

The Value of Entertainment Insurance

No one likes to think about having an insurance claim, but accidents can and do happen. That is why you buy insurance in the first place. Every so often, we like to share examples of the claims that are common in the entertainment industry.

  • A production company was filming a commercial in Los Angeles CA, and the company had $30,000 of equipment stored in a truck. While the production was stopped for lunch, a car hit the truck and most of the equipment was damaged. The driver of the vehicle had no insurance. Fortunately, the production company had property insurance on their equipment and the claim was covered minus the deductible.
  • An event planner scheduled a concert and had presold $100,000 worth of tickets. Three days prior to the event, the venue had a fire. The event planner had Event Cancelation Insurance and had the resources to settle all claims and reschedule the event for a later date.
  • A post production company was hired to produce 10,000 CD’s for a motivational speaker. The CD’s were to be ready for sale prior to a big event the speaker had scheduled. Due to production issues, the firm missed the release time and the speaker sued the firm for lost revenue.

How To Insure Animals

Animals have been used in movie-making, advertising, documentaries, print, and various production functions since the early days of the industry.  The American Humane Association has worked for many years to protect animals in films. This confirms how important animals are in movies, TV, documentaries and other productions.

Animal Mortality insurance will pay an agreed value for your animal actors if it dies from any accidental or natural cause. This coverage protects you against loss as a result of a variety of perils, including fire, lightning, windstorm, hail, theft, collision, upset while in transit, accidental shooting, and drowning.  Plus, it pays the agreed value of the animal actor if death was caused by one of the perils listed on the policy.

How it Works…it is simple

We get the resumes on the animal actors and their wranglers.  We can then write Animal Mortality coverage (life insurance) on the animals for a predetermined value.
